Today, Brogan Savard, member of Iqaluit TaeKwon-Do Society, Nunavuk Canada, was promoted to black belt! Congratulations! This is the culmination of many years of hard work and focus and dedication to complete the several components of the test over the past month and a half. Many more years of hard work to come for Mr Savard’s black belt journey! Welcome to the Black belt world!!

2024 CHITF President New Year Message
Happy New Year!
On behalf of Chan Hun International TaeKwon-Do Federation, I wish you and your families a healthy, wonderful New Energetic Dragon Year 2024!
In 2023, CHITF Members stood strong through difficult times to rebuild their associations, their clubs, and their lives after the Pandemic years. Despite economic instability, diminished membership enrollments, CHITF Leaders did not give up.
With the Spirit of TaeKwon-Do and the blessings of our beloved Founder, the CHITF UNET, CHITF Argentina, all other CHITF members were in Argentina supporting each other to make the 2023 2nd CHITF World Championship a great success.
I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate our newly promoted Senior Grand Master Robert Lai, who dedicated much time with passion to promote the original TaeKwon-Do. He and his team hosted the 2019 1st CHITF World Championship in Melbourne Australia! As well all newly promoted Grand Masters: S.K. Chong (Malaysia), Bathi Allimuthu (Malaysia) , Alberto Lettiere ( Argentina), Guilermo Stupenengo (Argentina), Marc Cote (Canada)/ CHITF warmly welcome the 2023 newly joined CHITF Affiliated members from: Colombia, Paraguay, Brazil, Bangladesh, Uraguay, Macau.
The CHITF World HQs provided support and encouragement to our members through 2023 Zoom Meetings, Seminars and together we worked hard to continue to uphold our CHITF Spirit and Mission.
There is so much more to do over the new year of 2024, as we continue to build CHITF, making it stronger by organizing positive activities to serve our CHITF Members, such as:
As we ring in a new year, let’s recommit to our CHITF Beliefs and Mission!!
2024 CHITF New Year expansion is expected in the Continent of Africa. SGM Phap Lu will host, through Whatsapp, the 1st CHITF Affiliated African Leaders Meeting. The 10 leaders expected to attend are from: Mozamblique, Ethiopia, Maputo, Malwe, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Rwanda, Madagascar, Angola and Mali.

SGM Phap Lu, President of CHITF, met with Canada Ottawa Mayor, His Excellence Mark Sutcliffe and Canada Ottawa City Councilor, Steve Desroches.
They discussed about the 2024 May 25th CHITF TAEKWON-DO WORLD CUP in Ottawa!! Mayor Sutcliffe and the City of Ottawa will give their full supports for the event, he accepted the invitation to be our Guest of the 2023 event!
On behalf the City of Ottwa Mayor Sutcliffe and Councilor Desroches have sent their Congratulations to the CHITF CANADA NATIONAL TEAM and the Ottawa TAEKWON-DO competitors for all their great achievements by bringing home 10 Golds, 11 Silvers and 7 Bronzes!!!
