The President, Phap Lu, today issued the following statement to the mark the New 2023!

 Healthy, Peaceful and Successful CHITF!

We look forward to a new 2023! A New fresh year after the Pandemic- full of promise, health, hope and Joy!

The New Year of 2023 brings fresh CHITF revitalized goals and making most of them means finding unity, common ground and share our CHITF Platform UPHOLD mission.  In past 2022, together, each CHITF Leader made important progress in their respected regions for all CHITF Members, from trying very hard to revitalizing, hosting, participating, and supporting their regional CHITF events, to moving forward with co-operation and harmony with others.  This year we will focus and work side by side with the 2023 August 4-5  2nd CHITF World Championship host, CHITF Argentina for preparing another successful and memorable CHITF World event.   As we ring in 2023, let’s remember that this spirit of CHITF Leadership teamwork is what got us here today, and that it remains our path forward.

“In the coming year, our CHITF Leader Team will continue to focus on the issues that matter most to CHITF Members across the globe, from hosting more meaningful events, to upgrade our black belts instructors both technically and morally and strengthening the CHITF Leaders Leadership skills and positioning CHITF for success in an uncertain world.

“Let’s begin this next decade by recommitting ourselves to the TaeKwon-Do values of respect, discipline, honesty, taught by our beloved Founder General Choi Hong Hi, and our compassion that define us as CHITF Members.  By coming together as a CHITF Family and putting harmony first, we will build a more peaceful world.

“On behalf of CHITF, The CHITF Grand Masters, CHITF Management Team and I wish you and your loved ones a great New 2023!

See you all in August in Argentina!!!

2019 – Malaysia Government praised the CHITF Special Needs TaeKwon-Doists Social Development program!

Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB TUN bin Mahatir Mohamad, and Minister of Youths/Sports, YB Syed Saddig!  praised the Can Hun International TaeKwon-Do Federation (CHITF) Special Needs TaeKwon-Doists and Youths Development programs! It has reflected on their happy faces in this Ceremony.  Particularly they are very happy to see that there will be a special Special Needs Division in the upcoming 2019 March 9-10 1st CHITF World Championship in Melbourne Australia.
 
They said and praised:
 
– They are very concerned about the development of the Youths, they are the future, we have to nurturing them. They see TaeKwon-Do martial art education plays a very important part for conditioning one’s both mind and body!
– They are please to hear that Malaysia, Argentina, Canada are actively involved for the Special Needs TKD Program. They are the leading countries.
– They will give full supports to the MYCHITF, as they have proposed to host the 3rd CHITF World Championship in Malaysia in 2023! . CHITF Argentina will host the 2nd in 2021
 
– CHITF thanks to Master Salvador Testa, CHITF International Commissioner of Special Needs TKD Committee, Master Khal Redza, Deputy International Commissioner of SND, for their hard works in this CHITF SN Program !
– CHITF also thanks to MYCHITF Leaders and Instructors for their hard works for promoting TKD and CHITF !

2019 – Message from the Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad!

YAB Perdana Menteri Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad menyerahkan Jalur Gemilang kepada kontinjen Malaysia yang menyertai Kejohanan Taekwondo Sedunia CHITF di Melbourne, Australia pada 9 &10 Mac ini. Kira-kira 40 peserta menjadi wakil Malaysia ke sana, termasuk beberapa kanak-kanak istimewa.

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad handed over the Jalur Gemilang to the Malaysian contingent to join the World Taekwondo Championships CHITF in Melbourne, Australia on 9 & 10 March. About 40 participants Malaysia’s representative there, including some children with special needs.

Chan Hun International TaeKwon-Do Federation(CHITF),World HQs Ottawa Canada, honored Prime Minister of Malaysia the CHITF Black Belt 8th Dan,witnessed by Malaysian Minister of Youths/Sports YB Syed Saddig.  Master Khal Redza, CHITF Malaysia National Commissioner, presented to his Honor on behalf of Senior Grand Master Phap Lu, President of CHITF.
